My Story

I’m Grace. Lover of light, devourer of baked goods, friend of tiny woodland creatures. Wife, mom, documenter of the everyday, drinker of tea. I am a lifestyle photographer providing family, children, newborn, motherhood, and everyday portraits, and I offer the opportunity to capture your life and loved ones as they are right now. I use my images to document authentic moments through the technique of visual storytelling.

I believe in the power of images to evoke emotive memories and freeze the moments of our lives into beautiful keepsakes. I love to use humor, communication, and sometimes a well-placed treat to make your session feel calm, relaxed, and even fun. My goal is to create vibrant images that you will enjoy viewing for years to come!

My favorite moments to document are the everyday ones. The ones that happen whether someone is taking a photo or not. Ordinary life becoming beautiful art. As I shoot, I will gently direct you to get a few images where everyone looks and smiles, but I will keep shooting through the unposed moments too. My sessions offer traditional posed portraits mixed with the charmingly commonplace in-between times, delivered to you in an offering of digital images and printed fine art products.
